ING and Volksbank sign contract with SurePay

We are proud to announce that ING and Volksbank have signed a contract with SurePay to deliver the Account Verification Service.

ING, SNS, Regiobank and ASN Bank will introduce the check as of the end of May. This means that customers of the above mentioned banks will also be notified if account number and name do not match.

As of now, three quarter of all Dutch account holders are better protected against fraud, typo's and outdated address lists. By introducing the Account Verification Service, ING and Volksbank, together with Rabobank have made online payments yet a little more personal and safe.
