SurePay, the inventor of the IBAN-Name Check, which consumers know from their banking app, has announced that it will launch a radio campaign on BNR Nieuwsradio to raise its brand awareness and encourage the use of its online portal. In this portal, online name, account numbers, KVK and VAT numbers can be checked, preventing fraud and errors. The campaign is aimed at the business target group.
According to Ramon Verweij, Head of Marketing at SurePay, companies often fall victim to fraud, such as phantom invoices, which can lead to financial losses and reputational damage. SurePay's IBAN-Name Check offers a solution to this problem, reducing errors and increasing speed when signing up new customers, suppliers or employees.
The spots will be broadcast on BNR Nieuws Radio to reach the business target group. During the period, a promotional offer also applies, allowing any company or organisation to do 50 checks for free.
Founded in 2016, SurePay provides the IBAN-Name Check to almost every Dutch bank. More than 300 companies, including insurance companies, municipalities, pension funds and energy companies, use the IBAN-Name Check to reduce fraud and errors in business processes, such as when onboarding new customers or suppliers.
The IBAN-Name Check portal was introduced in January and is already proving to be a great success. Many organisations, such as municipalities, provinces, FMCG and HR/payrolling use the platform on a daily basis.
