As a Business Developer you will help us to generate new business so that we can continue to grow and implement our SaaS solution across Europe. We regularly hire within our commercial team so whether you’re interested in growing our home base (the Dutch market), helping us to grow in the UK, or even helping us to break open new markets you’re welcome to apply!

How you’ll succeed
We generally look for experienced business developers with a background in SaaS/technical sales. We sell our solution to banking and corporate clients who usually have complex internal structures. It’s important to know how to get in front of the right person and what matters to them. If you have some knowledge of the payments landscape in the Netherlands or other EU countries, that can really help but isn’t always essential. Another thing which is useful is a good banking/corporate network in your market.
The most important thing comes down to your personality. You’re a strong communicator, a natural negotiator and you love building relationships. Spending the time to get contracts over the line and persevering to get deals closed gives you energy. If this sounds like something that resonates with you, let’s talk! And in return?
Our commercial team is critical to our success, and is highly appreciated. We offer a monthly base salary of between €3.200 and €6.800 depending on experience and the complexity of your focus area, as well as a bonus scheme. We work hybrid, asking our employees to come to our modern office in Utrecht at least once a week – if you’re based in the Netherlands that is. We have a good social atmosphere within SurePay, with regular Friday drinks, outings and a fun quarterly meeting where we all come together for a good catch-up. Aside from this we also give:
